Untitled
Seems like I have to come up with titles for my blogs, probably don't have to but I like to from time to time. Me and my Wife put up the shelf I got from Target yesterday and I must say it looks sexy.
Put up my Haruhi Figure I got from Katsucon. Now she can boss me around telling me to go to sleep or die lol
As everyone knows I started Astrea Type F. No paint just panel lining. Here's what I have so far.
I have to say the stickers for the inside orb look fantastic. I see some people say that they colored it clear but the look I wanted was kinda of a cloudy or just dark orb I wanted this gundam to look alil sinister but not evil.
No GN drive but something like it. The one thing I like about this kit is that it comes with extra pieces. Thing I hate about it is ... it doesnt tell you where they go. It came with a GN drive and a extra Exia type head but I guess I just have to figure it out on my own or use the intertubes.
I finished one of the Arms but didnt take a pic before I left for work this morning. So far I'm highly pleased with this kit. Alot of detail and customizing as far as swapping out V fins and heads and faces. I personally chose the Fin that suppose to have yellow on it but I didnt do the sticker but I panel lined it it looks nice that way. I might paint it when I get my GMarkers. As far as the face I used the black one just so it looks different. Great model so far. I also went to Hobby Town USA with my Wife and Kids and brought the kids some toys there and picked up some more supplies:
Chrome Silver and Clear Blue Tamiya paints. Hopefully the chrome will look nice on my joints and hands of some of my models. I totally forgot to pick up some chrome green but meh maybe later because I didn't want to spend that much money so I had to put back GunMetal as well. If the chrome works great ill buy a can of spray paint asap. But that will have to wait till later.

March Phase 1
Lol Just got finished watching some Gundam Seed Destiny and I just thought it was funny that they name all the episodes like Attack the Whatever! Phase (insert number) so that's kinda where the title came from. Anywho on to what I'm here for blogging!
I have a bunch of stuff to tell unfortunely I can't show for the fact that I wasn't feeling good on the weekend after hours. I went out in field service and to the hall but afterward I was super tired.
I made a futile attempt to mobile blog and my phone was acting stupid, I typed out a good nice and long blog for you readers and it wouldn't let me send it. Maybe it was because I was in Jersey (insert random Jersey joke), House takes place in Jersey... anyway umm lets start off by something I noticed Sunday morning. Guess what?? The poll has ended! So lets see the results (I'll leave them up for awhile but just in case)
14 People Voted lol hehe 1 of them was me I don't remember what I picked though.
6 for Destiny ( was kinda mad I didn't put in what grade but ill explain that later)
1 for Freedom (Lulz)
0 for Exia and Astray Blue (They can wait plus I might not get Exia all together)
2 for Astrea Type F (boo I got it from Katsucon so auto win for him)
3 for Sword Impulse (Read later on why I'm happy this didn't win)
2 for Virtue ( I love Virtue but lately he has been looking kinda bland pluse hes expensive because I would get the Virtue/Nadeleeh combo or Seravee/phim)
Destiny won so sometime (whenever GSAM gets updated) I will be ordering if the website isnt updated by wed I'm gonna just buy it.
Good work guys sometime later on today I will make another poll for next months gundam purchase. I still haven't ordered this month but ill explain later. Keep up the good work its nice to see at least 13 people come here and vote lol Don't forget the Youtube page @ http://www.youtube.com/user/mrcapcom. More subscribers pushes me to make more videos! ^_^
On another note I have a couple videos in the mix just been busy with my kids and my other spirtual goals and such. But I haven't forgotten! I plan on making reviews on SD 00.
So remember up above when I kept saying I would explain later etc etc. Well here's what I was talking about. This weekend I was bored and I figured I would try and get Astrea Type F built while I await GSAM to get its act together. And as I should have stated before but might of forgotten, I am building Astrea with out any paint (maybe the V fin) and so far its coming out really nice. The Stickers for the orbs on the body gives the desired effect I wanted (kind of like thick smoke in a fish bowl) the stickers for the V fin might look terrible so I'm going to use them but first thing when I get my GMarkers is to touch that up. So right now Astrea is just sitting there Head/Arm/Legless ill post up pictures later. I was able to hit Target up and I got a shelf to put my models on. My son keeps trying to spider-man his way up the desk and get them but I showed him! lol so I will be setting that up probably tonight as well. It was less expensive for the shelf and it does its job which is keeping it away from my kids! I don't have to worry about my daughters much they are old enough to not destroy my models, my son on the other hand is younger and wants to be like me so he's quick to take my stuff.
I also noticed this on Ngee Khiong this morning maybe seen a couple days back though:
Whats that omg Sword Impulse Master Grade! yup yup April seeing how I don't order overseas I'm gonna have to wait for GSAM to get it in stock and I'll snatch that baby up or at least put it in the poll see what you guys want to see. On another note about the model wth is up with the grey weapons? please please please please don't do that I just hope its like a concept or something and they will come colored. Email me if you have a answer to this ^_^ So last but not least I will be ordering MG Destiny Gundam just waiting for the whole hoopla of GSAM's update to finish then I'm orering away! Oh and unless I say so I'm most always getting MG's or NG's I don't like 1/144's but I never had one so I'll try to throw a couple into the poll and see what they are like plus there cheaper can't knock that.

Brain Wracking
So I called up Gundam Store and More(GSAM) and turns out they are updating there website sometime between Thursday 2-26-09 to Wed of next week. So I'm going to try and hold off buying my kits this weekend only because they are suppose to be doing price matching and adding a buyers club. ^_^ So hopefully I can wait and get some new deals plus they get there new shipments every month so those new things will come up on the site as well alil around the 1st. And at least we can see what the results of the poll are going to be for my next to build model. That will also influence what I'm going to buy next. I already have my eye on the Master Grade Destiny Gundam. And its so great because
a) I love winged gundams
b) I love gundams with swords (Antiaircraft sword anyone?)
c) I will be my first Master Grade
So Destiny has a lot going for it. And I will be picking up my Gundam Markers and such that I posted before. So hopefully everything works out.
On another note Otakon is coming! July 17th-19th, 2009 and although thats like what 5 months and some change away gotta start planing as far as pre registration. We plan on going up the day and coming back since its so close which is cool with me. I gotta find out the logistics of everything probally later on tonite. I was really really trying to catch up on my models but I think I want to wait for my gundam markers to finish some details. I really want to get Astrea Type F completed as well.

Tuesday's Blurb
Man alot of votes up there that's great. I already have Astrea Type F and Avalanche Exia. Still planning on how I'm going to attack those two kits. Hopefully if all goes well I will be ordering MG Destiny this weekend along with some other things, so looking forward to that. I need to do another over haul on the blog add some more links on the side etc so I think ill be knocking that out when I get some free time today. As far as kits go when (or if) I order Mg Destiny I want to do a full review. I never put together a MG kit before so I want to do a bunch of vids down to the frame work and painting as well. Seeing how everyone is voting for Destiny as my next build I'll make sure I put alot of stuff out for you guys.
I plan on at least taking Astrea out and cleaning the nubb's etc and preparing for its construction. I don't think I'm going to paint it im just gonna make it super clean and paint the orbs if need be and do a nice panel line job hoping that it will look like this:
Thats actually the pose I want for it as well.
Avalanche Exia and MG Destiny are getting Partial paint jobs. What I mean by partial is that Exia I will paint all the blue parts and black but white and probally yellow will stay the same. On Mg Destiny I will only paint the Red/Blue parts and maybe the Black on the wings I'm not sure I like the regular black.
Which brings me to another question. I saw on GSAM(Gundam Store and More) a pack of "fine" Gundam Markers. I think I will buy a pack included with my big order for friday if I can. I'm still deciding on it though it would help abunch in those hard to reach areas.
I also have been pricing a Figma Haruhi I'm debating on buying it its only like 24 bucks. Not any time soon but it would make a nice addition to my collection plus I like the Figma stands :-) I'll worry about that next month ^_^

Monday's Post - Moving Forward
Ok so now we got that mini review out the way... feel free to e-mail me any questions or anything. I will be taking some more shots high res later funny how my Lg Dare 3.2 MP camera takes better photos in the dark than my Kodak 10 MP. Well ill take more pics sometime tonight or tomorrow. Hopefully I will be getting somethings this weekend. Most of you guys/gals (girls come here?) voted on Destiny so if money permits I'm going to pick up SD Destiny and MG Destiny. I wanted SD Destiny because of the wings of light, but for some reason the MG got skipped for Wings of Light unless you buy the Extreme Burst Mode and its Extreme price tag. So I will be getting the regular not so extreme Master Grade Destiny and the SD Destiny with Wings of Light. Here is a list of what I hope to order this weekendMaster Grade Destiny Gundam

Gundam Store and More is doing a update the next couple days, and they suppose to be adding a buyers club or something. Hopefully if they do we will see some more discounts. If money permits I will have all these and I will probally do the SD one first only because its so easy to make them too me like 2 hours (kids were playing and watching around me) And when I do the MG I will make sure I take alot of pics and write up somethings to show you guys what MG is all about. First priority though is to grab the Display Case as everyone can see my printer is getting full lol and I need somewhere to put everything. GMarkers are next because I can't touch anything up with out them. Action stands are next because hehe 00 looks so much better on a stand in flight. So hopefully I will have the cash and I can buy everything if not then ill get SD/Markers/1 or 2 Action Stands and the Ikea Display and ill grab MG Destiny next week.
