EXIA R2 WIP PT2

So I had some time to work on the kit a bit more. Keep in mind this is my second HG kit my first was of Gadessa. Right now this guy is looking pretty small lol but I'm sure it will look great once it comes out. Finished up most of the Torso:



Looks really nice and the gold on the top fins came out better than I thought they would. I had to stop because I wanted to paint the chest vents gold so thats where the project ended. I might not have that much time to finish up Exia tonite but the build is coming along pretty good so hopefully by the end of the weekend it will be done.

Gundam Exia R2 WIP

Ok so I just had a spare of the moment thing on building this guy. And I started the initial painting.


I ended up painting all the Grey Parts Chrome Silver. After I build the kit im definitely going to put some kinda clear matte or w/e coat on it. I gotta go to the hobby story or hardware store and pick some up. Vektar if your reading this e-mail me the name of what you use ^_^

The Infamous Metallic Blue



Colored the Yellow parts gold and painted the orbs clear green then I panel lined the feet. I usually don't do it but im tryin to do as much detail like in the picture, and I colored the line for his torso red parts gun metal black. I made a bunch of vids I gotta edit up and post on youtube, but here's the pictures stay tuned!

a whopping 15 bucks but I think its worth it for 1 of the greatest fighting games of all time I can't wait to get my game on pwn and get pwned in the online

Have I forgotten you guys?

Nope I haven't I just have been very busy with RL. My latest kits aren't built yet because I am waiting to do some really really special treatment on them. So I am waiting. Hopefully I can score some paint this weekend, and maybe buy 1 or 2 kits most likely SD or 1/144's. The 1/100's I want are all MG's or Virtue/Seravee/Cherudim so thats gonna cost abit more than I have atm. If anything I will keep a txt update and I will update my youtube page with videos as they come. This isn't me shutting down just getting my ducks in a row ^_^

Next Con though will be in NOV @ http://www.zenkaikon.com/index.php. I'm really on the fence about going. The dealers room looks a bit empty and I don't know how maybe people go to this con I think its only been around for 3 years. But if I do go then im definitely going just for 1 day its not that far from where I live like 45 minutes

Overall Impressions of Otakon 09

I had a lot of fun going to Otakon. When I get a chance ill make a Video talky review of my thoughts but ill point out somethings that I wanted to know that I found out by actually being there.

The First thing, this is my first time at Otakon and my second time at a anime con. So with that said Otakon is waaaay bigger than Katsucon. More things to buy more things to see more people. I had a fun experience at both places though.

Next year I will be going back to Katsucon and Otakon at least this time ill have more of a understanding on what I want to do and where I need to go for everything. This year was alittle bit rushed but I'm planning for next year after November and ill tell you why later.

The competition for the Models i found out last minute so I'm kinda mad because I could have entered one of my kits or at least put extra effort into making somethig.

Other than that it was fun next stop is Zenkaikon which I think ill be registering for end of the month which is in KoP and ill have a tons of pics when I go there ^_^
